Nominated at the 2017 Gala de l’ADISQ in the “Album of the year – Country” category, Gabrielle Goulet is a franco-ontarian singer-songwriter who charms her audience wherever she goes. She won “SOCAN’s song of the year” award at the 2016 Gala Country with the song “Juste Toi” and was the recipient of Best female Artist” award at the 2015 Prix Trille Or. She received 2 nominations at this year’s Gala Country, in the “Songwriter of the year” and “SOCAN’s song of the year” with her song “Pas plus que ça”.
In 2012, Gabrielle was part of the television show “JAM” hosted by Patrick Groulx which led her to perform on the main stage at the Montreal Francofolies festival. Gabrielle Goulet released her first album “Papillon” in February 2013. A few months later, she was nominated at the Gala Country of St-Quentin in the category “SOCAN Song of the year” and received the “Étoile Galaxie” award in the category “Pop / Rock / Folk Singer-songwriter” at the Festival Western in St-Tite. After receiving the prize “Coup de foudre SALUT!” during the 2014 edition of Contact Ontarois, Gabrielle Goulet has performed nearly 200 performances of her show.
In 2015, Gabrielle had the honour of performing at the opening ceremonies of the ParaPanAm games in Toronto. Later that year, she was named Rouge FM’s “Talent à découvrir”. Upon releasing her EP “Ton Garage” in March 2016, Gabrielle was also named the “BUZZ Énergie” of the month with her second radio single “Pas plus que ça”, which was in the top 10 of the Top 100 Radio BDS Francophones for 20 weeks and also in 4th position for two consecutive weeks at the end of April. “Ton garage” also peaked at #3 on the iTunes charts the day of its release.
She released her 2nd album, titled “Elle Sait”, on March 31st. In this album, Gabrielle Goulet returns with a new confidence and freshness, and in a very current style, which is both country and pop.
