Canadian Dance Hall of Famer, MC Mario is renowned for his live DJ prowess, for hosting a nationally syndicated radio show, for producing hit dance tracks and for collecting the world’s biggest hits, and for his line of compilation albums distributed in Canada by Universal Music. MC Mario is now celebrating 3 million albums sold in Canada, and he’s still counting. Mario was also nominated for a Juno Award in the Best Dance Recording category in 2001 and 2003, and received the Hall of Fame prize at the Montreal DJ Awards in 2009.
MC Mario‘s nationally syndicated radio shows Mixdown and House Party can be heard in Montreal on Virgin Radio 96 and in 25 cities throughout Canada, the United States, Antigua, Portugal, Australia, Greece, Cyprus, Brazil and Cayman Islands.

In 2004 MC Mario became co-owner of Club 1234 in Montreal. Known for its lifestyle, nightlife and beautiful people, Montreal has always been at the forefront of dance music and club culture. On September 8th, 2004, Club 1234 was reborn with a gala opening night party and over 1500 people in attendance and there it’s been a full house every weekend since. MC Mario has shared the stage with world class DJs such as Bob Sinclair, Axwell, Carol Cox, Boy George and Alex Gaudino just to name a few.
MC Mario entered the international stage in 2009 with the release of My Generation featuring the vocals of Canadian Recording Artist Dat Dude, and made more waves around the world in 2010 with the mega-hit We No Speak Americano featuring Italian-Canadian sensation Marco Calliari.
